Summer Reading List – Part 2

A few days ago, I began posting Inly’s Summer Reading List.  I organize our list based on a reading continuum, a developmental approach to reading defined by the late Bonnie Campbell Hill, a highly-regarded literacy specialist. The list our students receive includes a description of each book. In the interest of space, however, I removed most of them here, but if I didn’t love each book, it wouldn’t be on the list! Today’s list is for the Emergent Reader.
