New England Reading

I happened to be in my car today when this cool segment was on WBUR’s program, Radio Boston. It was a long piece on books with a New England theme with two really good guests – Paul Harding, author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel Tinkers and Carole Horne, general manager of the Harvard Book Store in Cambridge.  It was well timed for August vacationers,  speaking of which…I’m about to take one myself. This will be my last post for a couple of weeks. I’ll be doing some travelling both of the literal and the armchair varieties – and will definitely be back to regular posts in mid-August with lots of new books to recommend.
