Who could complain about spending money on a campaign to encourage reading that stars Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat!  Actually, I’m sure someone would, but not me.  What an excellent use of tax dollars!  I saw this sign on a mall billboard,  and it encouraged me to check out: www.read.gov

Go ahead – give it a try. It’s a cool website, which includes lots of fun reading-related news, including tips for reading with children and an article about Katherine Paterson, the National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature.
